Lin Zoe cherishlio2 — Memorable characters, violence, and friendship. These three elements are why I enjoyed Of Mice And Men. The characters were truly relatable and you get into their world. Secondly, I liked reading about all the gore and blood in this book. Lastly, I related to the theme of friendship in the book. To Begin with, I like Of Mice And Men because of the characters. As I read this book I felt the characters emotions. The reader accepts their differences, and understands what they’re going through. For example, everyone reading this book would root for Lennie, even though he’s mentally disabled. After hearing about Lennie And George’s plan, who wouldn’t want them to succeed? Next, I enjoyed the blood gushing, bone crushing violence in this story. Like when Lennie fights Curley. Throughout the book, Curley tries to start an argument with Lennie. He really gets what is coming to him. Lennie ended up breaking Curley’s hand. Finally, I enjoyed this book because of the theme of friendship. This book shows how every human needs some sort of companionship. Just like George and Lennie, friends are we need friends to keep us going when we’re down. Like the book proves, everyone needs a good friend. In conclusion, I liked this book for several reasons. Firstly, I connected with the characters. Of Mice And Men also has violence, that I enjoyed. Last but not least, I liked the theme of friendship. I liked this book, and I know you will too.

Frank De frankdejol — 1.5 This book was just so difficult to comprehend. It literally had me putting the book down every single time to try and figure out what I just read. Reason why it took me forever to finish it. From the description of this book I thought I was gonna love it but it was just such a mess. I was left in confusion about mostly all the characters. This book honesty in my opinion had so much potential but sadly it just didn't work out.
