Umut Guney umutguney — I've decided that Kooser is the Norman Rockwell of poetry--folksy scenes of Americana: garage sales, funeral luncheons, canning fruit, nursing homes. His character sketches sort of ennoble the plain, modest lives of his fellow mid-westerners. If you're looking for inscrutable, multi-layered poems with verbal pyro-technics, look elsewhere. If you're the kind of person who enjoys your weekly update on the News From Lake Wobegone, Kooser might be just your brand of avuncular storyteller.

Antonino Ciuro antoninoci5bfb — Another good story in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I'm glad that now that the princess is dead, Rehv can give up his illegal businesses. That was the only part I didn't like about him. I really like Ehlena. She was a good mate for Rehv. I, also, enjoyed the secondary storylines (although I was so hoping that Wrath would get at least a little of his eyesight back). I'm looking forward to JM's and Xhex's book.

Nancy Morales 7dwarfs — Enjoyed the book very much. Larsson continues to develop characters that I truly feel I know and care about. They are complext and at times it seems to take an effort to read all of the details but it is well worth it. This second book in the trilogy is full of plot twists and surprises as well as the further development of Lisbeth. My only criticism is that the ending was somewhat unsatisfactory. While I know this is part of a trilogy, the first book did not leave me hanging per se, rather it left me wanting more about these characters. This second book, however, left me hanging regarding the plot as well. While I don't mind this, I think it is a somewhat overused tactic and I thought Larsson did an excellent job of avoiding it with the first installment. Enjoy!
