Andrii Karpinskyi d8120178ka27c8 — For the intensity of the book alone, this one gets 5 stars from me! I felt a little bit like the Thanksgiving turkey – gobble, gobble, couldn’t get enough. This one was a dead ringer for my kink addiction:) I think the author did a brilliant job of portraying Gabriel’s emotions and mindset through the writing style of the book. The fear, the frantic desire, the confusion, and the submission can all be felt very vividly in the choice of words as well as what’s not said. This was such a page turner for me and that anticipatory level of excitement carried throughout the book. While this is a shifter story and there are some unique animal instincts/actions that come into play, there’s actually only one scene in which the shifting occurs in the background – kind of a different twist. There are a few plot points in the story that are very key, but don’t play out to the extent that I would have expected (ex: GPS tracking device). I don’t disagree with some of the other reviewers on this particular critique, however, the fact that it sucked me in from page one and I couldn’t put it down more than made up for it. I’m choosing to think positively and hope (*pretty please*) it leaves the way open for a sequel or three!! Uber hot and spicy – left me craving much more of this addictive creation!!!
