Sam Anselmo _am_os — What a gem of a book. I had put off reading it because so many book clubs were, but this was such a good read. I loved the format and the characters were so well drawn and I learned a good deal about an episode of WWII history I knew little about. It is just a delightful book(which doesn't mean it has no heartbreak). Highly recommended to all.

Jongpil Park du_ke — Not a great book, it kept my interst but I wasn't glued to it. The storyline was just alright. The ending was ok, but nothing to right home about.

Shuang Liang cool77 — I didn't read the whole thing, but it has some really interesting ideas about how the language we use affects the relationships we have. I of course was concerned mostly with how I talk to my students, but I think this book has a lot of useful thoughts on just general conversational skills. Like how often we react with judgment when someone we care about is upset, instead of just listening and empathizing with them. It sounds very floofy when I describe it like that, but whatever - I liked it.

Chalif Rafi chalifrf — ** spoiler alert ** There's something creepy and slightly disturbing about this book and it's not just Harper calling the guy she's sleeping with 'her brother'. But I'm sure I'd enjoy it more if she didn't.
