Ree Ree ree8889 — This book was somewhat slow to get going, mostly because there is a whole new mythology to be introduced along with the characters. Once I had a good grasp for the world of Shadow-Hunters and their task to keep humans safe from Downworlders and demons, I was able to appreciate the story. I loved the witty banter between Jace and Clary, the plot twists and turns, and the mystical world of the Shadow-Hunters.

Bo Vittrup _obo1972 — Very interesting book. Switches between WW2 Germany and the present in the US. Demonstrates what people will do to save themselves and their families, keeping secrets and discovering the past. The characters are very well developed. I couldn't put the book down.

Prashi Mittal prashi — i give a 4.5. it was definetly a good book! meg cabot gave a twist to her usual type of writing and i like that there's a second book. i cant wait! i want to read it. now. haha. no, seriously, it was good. u should read it. I think I never really read a Meg Cabot book where the girl was sort of tomboyish. Just shy. Always shy. *sigh* But, anyway, I like her way of writing. :)

Shahrokh Mokrem shahrokh — Pretty awesome followup to The Name of the Wind. Although I'm still at the "what's the point" point of the story. Each book is one day where the innkeeper recounts his past life. Although his life is fascinating, by the time I finished this book I was more than ready to see what's going to happen in the present storyline. The present storyline moves at a snail's pace compared to the past storyline. I would not recommend this book, even though it's awesome. The story picked up at the end, but it was still rather inconclusive considering we're going to have to wait another 4 years or so for Mr. Rothfuss to finish the next one. I would say, wait until he's done writing all of them. Otherwise you're just going to feel gypped at the end. Hah, yes, no gaff to the Edema Ruh intended.
