Gaetcke Dominic _ — Under the Dome is an epic disaster-science-fiction novel. It’s a classic Stephen King story. Much like The Stand, it’s about a community of people who are on their own and have internal and external problems to deal with. The novel is a little more than 1000 pages so there’s a whole lot going on and it would be difficult to summarize it in 100 words. Basically, there’s a small town that all of a sudden has an invisible and invincible dome surrounding it. The dome makes it so nothing and no one can get in and out of the town. The community has to band together and start governing its self and some people let the power go to their head. I loved this novel. There’s so many well-crafted characters that you get to know, love and hate. The action and suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat. To top it all off the mystery of where the dome came from is on the character’s and the reader’s mind right up until the end.

Revelatoria Renata revelatoria — YA lit--still reading but good so far, especially since written from the male perspective, which is rare in this genre. Won an ALA Printz award. I stopped reading this because I started to get weirded out by the number of times the author (a skinny white lady) self-insulted her character. "I am a fat slob, I disgust myself. People gawk and laugh I am so fat....Blobs of fat hang over my pants...blah blah..." It is actually a good book, but I needed to put it down for a bit until i can take this woman seriously again (I know, I know, never judge a character by its author, but I am!). Anyway, I never should have looked at the book jacket.

Nuo Xu nokxu — all at once hilarious and beautiful.

陈 啤 270478027994e — Beautifully written of course but overall slow-moving. I think I've got to give it a second read before I can really give an opinion. If you're dedicated to reading the classics or a fan of Joyce go for it but overall I don't recommend it.

Mohamed Honda _ — I loved this book. I first discovered it at the book-fair in school. I recognized it becaus I am a big fan in the Harry Potter Series, so when i heard of the Nicholas Flamel series i thought I would give it a try!
