Chloe Khong chloekhong — its an interesting read alongside Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Ok that said way back in the day. This was the most interesting introduction to anything i've ever read. I was told that it'd be kinda boring but the needed background for reading Wright's later stuff in the series. It was a fun (dare i say) though challenging read (b/c its scholarly). Since first reading Wright I've like him b/c (partly) of his wit and writing style. Not being a professional scholar what i have to say about the content isn't very important or weighty. Its a good, if lengthy, book if you want to get an idea of what was going on around, before and after, the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

Chin Fang process11 — All I can say about this book is do not base your perception based upon the movie and the fact that Colin Farell is in it. I am huge fan of Michael Cunnigham and appreciate the narratives he constructs with queer characters. I think many individuals share in the journey to find a home, family, and yourself within that jumbled mess. I saw many of my own struggles within this novel. Michael Cunningham is a beautiful writer and I recommend all of his books.

Oswald Knight _matiauctionhouse — this book reminded me a lot of the red tent. i found it to be an especially interesting read because at the time i read it, i had just completed a bible study over the patriarchs of the old testament. a woman's perspective is always refreshing when men are usually the focus. i can't wait to read the rest of the books in the trilogy.
