Ngoc Anh ngocanhtran — I loved this book. It is a heart-warming story about a Chinese boy, then man, who tried to find happiness as an ethnic minority in Seattle. I enjoy stories about people from other countries, so it fit me well.

Fares Saqr _ares_a_r — This story encompasses a period of time little known during the reign of Henry VIII--the few years at the end of his marriage to Katherine of Aragon before he meets Anne Boleyn when he was consorting publicly with Anne's sister. Mary Boleyn is mostly lost to conventional histories, but historian/author Gregory does a magnificent job of conjuring a like able character as she matures from a young teen aged lady-in-waiting to young motherhood, still in her teens, and lifelong love with another courtier. Crucial to Gregory's arresting narrative is the exhaustive research she does to 'get it right' before she writes. This massive book becomes quite the page-turner and you can't wait to find out what comes next, though most readers are familiar with some of the major events.

Allan Sánchez agsc2488 — The first of the Saga. I have to admit, I began reading this book after seeing a poster in a local cinema for the film adaptation. I thought that the book was brilliant! Although, at points it seems quite lovey-dovey but overall quite enchanting. As you may know the film adaptations have gone down a treat with a lot of age groups and so did the books but I have definitely found that the books override the films (although, out of the films that have been made, the first is the best). I would recommend this book if you are looking for one that let's you into story of vampires, wolves, romance, trinagles of love and friendship and passion :)

Bangle Sylvia sylbang82d8 — I just couldn't get in to this one. It didn't seem to go anywhere and I didn't like any of the characters. And if the main character said "witchy" one more time . . . well I guess she finally said it too many times that I gave up on it!
