Karina Rodriguez karinar — I happen to be fond of squirrels, so naturally I think Miss Susy is adorable. I like the songs she sings and that she likes “warm and cozy, but she’s not fussy.” In this adventure she rescues some baby squirrels and learns a lesson about Easter. Arnold Lobel’s water color illustrations are lovely.

Grace Pradhan gracepradhan — Rebecca Traister gave voice to a lot of what I was feeling during the 2008 election but could not put into words. Like so many of the Democrats she questions, I was torn between Hillary and Barack. For a non-fiction book, it is quite the page turner! Her voice is very engaging and I was sad when the book came to an end. I enjoyed the scope of her book, and reliving the most powerful and historical election in my lifetime.

Gustavo Paula _ustavo_aula — I've never been to New York, but it's a place I've fanticized about and has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I loved the concept of this book - how the city is a character and a factor in these real people's love stories.

Ion Andrei _artist — The most gratuitously brutal novel in the history of literature, combined with the most wondrous prose - archaic and biblical at times - you won't find anywhere else but in the oeuvre of Cormac McCarthy. I don't think that anybody else in the current roster of novelists is able to describe violence more vividly than this author. Not the easiest read for sure, but if you've got the stomach and perseverance, you're in for a real treat by McCarthy's greatest novel.
