Penny Laine pennylainedesign — I only added this book because the author is excellent. I'm a bit dismayed to find that this is the only book that they have listed for her. She is first and foremost an author of historical fiction and she's excellent. I've even had the privilege to correspond with her. Her books -The Catherine LeVendeur series take place in 12th century France in a time where it's becoming dangerous to be a Jew. Catherine is a French Christian but a family secret threatens both the safety and livelihood of her family. Really fascinating series.

Irina Panchoshak irinapanchoshak — I chose this book for research and I must say that Ernesto Che Guevara is quite an interesting guy. I am currently writing an essay about him and this book has it all. It contains information about his childhood, quotes that he's said, and many other things about him. I seriously recommend this book to someone who is researching about the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro or Che Guevara himself. This book can also just be read leisurely because it doesn't hurt to read a book about a historic figure and the book is quite fascinating.

Meichin Tan meichin — I read this book in high school for class, and I immediately fell in love with it. It is just so beautifully written, it's romance, it's drama, it's comedy, it's everything - and best of all it's all true. While reading this, the characters, places and situations are written so vividly I kept thinking of my family and the stories I've heard over the years. While in college, Villasenor came to our campus to sign copies of his new book and I asked him to sign my poor, tattered copy of this one and I was able to talk to him about the book, his family, my family and life. It was one of the most memorable times in my life and I'll never forget it.
