Courtney Reader thedecodame — In my opinion, the release of the Complete Peanuts is the release of one the greatest works of art that the last century has produced, hell, one of the greatest lifetime achievements that the last century has seen. Fifty years of daily comic strips. Fifty years. All of them brilliant. There's just nothing comparable, nor will there ever be. But, if you consider the Peanuts art like me or if you are just a fan of comic books, I have no doubts that owning at least one of the high-quality Boxed Sets in which they rae being released would do your book collection good. (and you'd enjoy reading them...) As for which one you buy, well, I have no preferences. This one is especially close to me heart, because I was born in 1978 (yes I am really THAT old *rolls eyes*), but true Peanuts-philes will probably have intellectual arguments why one or another volume is better or more relevant. Me, like I said, I see the whole collection as a piece of art. It just wouldn't be the same if I didn't buy every single one of the books. (OMG and they look so pretty on my shelf, too! *g*)

Prity Ahmed prityahmed — This will come as no surprise: Woolf is genius.

Ana Solano anasolano — I'm not sure if I liked this second part as much as the first part, but it was still astounding. It was more painful to read, not just because it covers the time spent at Auschwitz, but also because of the son/father relationship and his father's deterioration. My husband (yes, I forced strongly encouraged him to read these) was somewhat annoyed by the present-day framing of the memoir, but I found it fascinating and one of the main draws of the book. I highly recommend these.

Dennis Dragt dennisdragt — This is the third Discworld book (in chronological order) and the best so far. It seems like they keep getting better. Next is Mort! Death!
