Young Tree ytree — chosen to be read in the book club I was in at the time, hated every second i spent reading this one. it seems to me that it SO wanted to be a movie not a book a wish it would later be granted. i SO wish i had spent the time at the movies (although not the melanie griffith version of this book) instead of reading this book.

Aude Lebas journalismcf13 — This is a wonderful series about the life and ministry of the Savior. Gerald Lund does a masterful job taking us into the historical context of the time period and creating real-life characters that help us understand the time, culture, and the amazing impact the Savior's ministry must have been on those living during that time. The series was originally intended to contain five volumns, until Gerald Lund was called to serve as a general authority in the LDS Church. Books 1 and 2 are especially powerful, whereas Book 3 has so much crammed into it (what was intended for volumes 3 - 5) that you miss exploring the development of the fictional characters as much as you are able to do in the first two volumes. Regardless, this is a highly recommended series.
