Denis Orekovich orekovich — If I had to be locked in a room for 10 years with three books; this would be one of them (ghe other two would be The Goose Girl and one of the Harry Potter books). This book totally captivated you--I made the huge mistake of starting it before I went to bed, I got one quarter of the sleep I usually get. Suzanne Collins' screenwriter background totally shows in this book. Everything is perfectly paced, the descriptions are so realistic and the action is so good that it's quite frightening. Her characters are rich, and the cause and effect is fabulous. The plot is great, and the idea of the Hunger Games is horrifying and intriguing at the same time. One book that you simply must read!!

Devon Sorenson devonmarie — Cute book that could hook boys into exploring guy authors a little further. I thought some of the stories were written in a hurry with little or no editing though. My husband called this book "An Owner's Manual for Having a Boy" and he gave it six stars. Go figure!
