Rémi Pillon groupe_chevalley — I love how badass this heroine is. She doesn't take attitude from any of the characters, especially the hero. But she doesn't ride rough-shoes over him, either. She's sensitive to his past hurts. Sherri does a great job of showing the conflict in the hero. He doesn't want to torture people, he's been tortured. But he's trying to avoid being tortured again. Read this in a couple of hours. Epic goodness. Highly recommend.

Sydney Newsom hellod26a — Nothing really wonderful or terrible happens in this really really long book. I have my own life for that, thanks. The only detail that really sticks with me from this novel is that for some reason the hero falls in love with a girl who has greenish skin.

Elena Osenbrüg elena_senbrueg — I liked the book. It is not so much a "how to parent" book as a this is how I parent and this is how it turned out. Yes, she is intense but she admits it does not always work. And she does have some valid points. All in all good read but NOT an instruction manual.

Loona Põtter loonafa31 — I really can't decide whether I like this book because it's something completely different than I've ever read before or hate it because, well, I don't know why. I can't decide whether I think Wray is a brilliant writer, choosing a story and writing style that hasn't been done before OR he's just as crazy as his main character and was just looking for an outlet to brag about his vast knowledge of the NYC subway system. I liked this book but I didn't like this book. I don't know. You decide.

Mohamed Chawki _ohnkalel — All I remember from reading this book years back is how ruthless this guy had to be just to put rice in his bowl. Kind of evens out the typical assumption of unswavering loyalty and such to include the...niceities of samurai life.
