Mohammed Zubair amzubair — I loved Please Ignore Vera Dietz. There were so many layers of the story, but I never felt a loss of momentum in the plot. Vera’s struggles with her father, with her (now dead) best friend Charlie and with the other people in her orbit fascinated me. I liked that the story was broken up into non-chronological chunks. The story is told by Vera in the first person, but secondary characters get a chance to explain their side of the story. Even the town’s ornamental Pagoda gets a chance to speak its mind. Highly recommended.

Hingwah Wong hwkidea — I'm not good at writing reviews so I will be brief. This book scared the poop out of me. If you like true crime and true horror than this book is for you. The reader is brought on a investigative roller coaster where the author shares his findings with you and makes you feel like you're part of the investigation with the inclusion of reproductions of letters and photographs from the case. A really good read.

Filiz Avsar avsarf — This is the second book that I have read in the series so far. It was interesting to see how main character remains being a hero after he looses his job.

Mauricio Hincapie mauriciohincapie11 — Really great! The writing was easily understood and really made you feel like you were in the book. The characters were great, except Linda; I didn't see much of her personality come through in dialogue. All we know is that she is smart, likes to read and has a horrid father. The Beast's character grew tremendously and I even cried in one part! An amazing story of the ages retold beautifully!
