Mohamed Kamal magekali19dd15 — Very cute story about the girl whose parents are divorced, but she is not alone because she has her dog Fred who is her friend. The problem is that Fred is BIG troublemaker; he destroys things in both homes and both parents want him gone. The girl puts her foot down and announcing that her dog stays with her, end of story. I love this book!!! I wish I had a dog when my parents were divorcing; it would have helped me to deal with that.

This has been the perfect companion for my watching of the Lizzie Bennet Diaries! 1/28/13 - It's the 200th anniversary today. Time for a reread!

Nevertheless, I bought this book and have used sed quite frequently through out my career, because I do a lot of crude text parsing. It's a good book, and the colophon is even cooler than the O'Reilly vi book. Long live O'Reilly!

Pankhudi Mishra _antsks194046d — This is the first Le Carre book I've read, although I really enjoyed the film version of "The Constant Gardener." Both stories have lots of interesting post-Cold War twists on the spy-thriller genre. I will say that after hundreds of pages of (well-written, interesting) slow-burn intrigue I was kind of hoping for a more whiz-bang ending. The ending is totally appropriate for the message he's trying to relay, but maybe Hollywood has conditioned me to expect more from this type of build-up. Stupid Hollywood.
