Mánek Rio manekin — Poison Study was a beautiful read. We have a swoon-worthy male (Valek) and a determined girl (Yelena). The story takes you to the wonderful world of Ixia, where the Commander needs a food taster to prevent being poisoned. Yelena's the next in line for the noose, so she's offered the position. Valek trains her and eventually falls for her. Full review to come.

刘 婧 _311 — It's funny! It's punny! It's incredibly sarcastic and weird! What more do you want from a Far Side collection? Fantastic to read through when you're visiting family and perusing their bookshelves at night, which is something I happen to do. It made me chuckle, and that's all I can ask from a comics book.

Tiago Campos tiagocampos — My Rating/Reviewing MO This is the first book in a series and it shows. It ends at kind of an awkward place. I wanted to pick up the next book right away but it is not available yet. If you like fantasy books that spend time showing you a new world, than you will like this book. I warn you though – this is not a light read. Another warning, you have to make it through the first half of the book before it really starts to get interesting. The first part is long and slow, though it does contain interesting descriptions of how magic works in the four part land. I would have preferred that this section be much shorter, and the last part more expanded so we could get to know the characters better. The last part of the book is very interesting and I will be reading the next book in the series when it comes out. Also, because this book is part of a a series I am going to withhold my final judgment until I read all the books. I prefer to judge a series as a whole. Tarranau gained an extra star for the potential I see in the series.

Majd Abdelky _ajd_bdelky — A really enjoyable read. Mr. Koontz explores one of his favorite themes, that of transforming the human body to do sometimes wonderful/sometimes terrible things. Solid suspense all the way.

Rakan Malkawi rakanmalka2377 — Easy to sit and read one evening. Beautiful descriptions of Italian shoe making. Fluff, but fun!

我那覇 純都 juntognhf13f — Having seen several episodes of the BBC adaptation of the Jeeves & Wooster stories, it was difficult for me to read Jeeves without invoking Stephen Fry's portrayal of him; likewise Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster in all his exasperated cluelessness. Wodehouse is of course exceedingly clever - one wonders what it might do for the verbal talents of a generation if they were required to read Wodehouse in school instead of ghastly classics like The Scarlet Letter.
