Creativ Creativ john77osa — Ok here goes my review which is probably opposite to everyone else here. The book for me was ok, and was not impacted by the dramtic scene at the end, but by the details of the story that were revealed at the end. The surprises for me were Celina, Tate, Mr. Merit- Caroline's dad, oh and Merit totally doing the cop/detective thing! Merit and Ethan go thru their regular back and forth "I care for you but." antics, Mallory and Catcher do their magic and so forth. The vamps and the V was an interesting development, and the Presidium guy was totally annoying! There was so much going on between Tate blaming them for the problems arising, their investigation, and the Gp threatening them it kept me reading. One major thing missing was Merit actually fighting someone- Celina- Morgan growing some balls, and an indication of where the story was going. I'm shocked that when everything was found out at the mayors house that the first words out of her mouth wasn't "he's some kind of dark sorcerer!" I mean isn't this info important? Especially to Catcher and Mallory the magic people? What jail are they gonna keep u know who in? The one he made for supes? Anyway the additional storyline about why Merit became a vamp also helped saved this story for me. That part and the actual sadness over lover man being gone encourages me oo read on!
