What will you do for justice? I did not care for the death of Jamie's dog Snowball, that was my one big problem with the book. But otherwise it was very well written and interest grabbing.

Toucouleur Toucouleur _oucouleur — By far this book series is the best I have ever read. I fell in love with both characters and their story. This story is so rich with history and timeless love that can survive anything. Starvation, War, Tragedy, Loss. I cried when I finished it and can't stop thinking about it. I hope that these books are made into movies!

Miguel Bandeira _iguel_andeira_rj — ** spoiler alert ** I liked May immediately! She is such a strong character, maybe not as strong as Phemie, would like to read her diaries! Martha and May were such great friends. A couple of parts that I found humor in were when Martha and May were talking about their wedding night and Martha's Indian name and how the Indians came up with names and they continually changed. "Woman falls a lot" to "Woman who jumps fire" who didn't see her falling . . . Of course we all know that May is going to die in the end, but the manner of her death is just horrid, and I my liking for John Bourke turned to hatred with one shot! and my liking for Little Wolf increased with one shot when he killed Jules Seminole. It was such a sad ending for all the savages. I was disappointed that we did not find out what became of Harry.

Josh Emery emeryrocks — I would LOVE to see this book made into a movie. I have already cast it.

Arwa Mohamed arwamohamea1d4 — Katniss seems to lose not only her mind, but most of the strongest parts of her personality. Great war scenes, but the first Hunger Games book is definitly the best.

Aadarsh Pullanikat pullanikat — Here was a historical novel with the difference. The story is about the French noblewoman who instead of following the traditional life became obsessed with reading, self-educated herself in Latin and Greek and got involved with the famous French philosopher Montaigne, who adopted her as a spiritual child and let her edit his essays after his death. As I understood Marie de Gourney was a real person who lived in the 17th century in France and dedicated her life to writing. It was an interesting piece of history and some insight into the works of famous philosopher.

Dawid Strzelec dawidstrzelec — Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is told from a young boy's perspective who lost his father in 9/11. The book captures his journey through family secrets and grieving over his father. As I was reading, I could easily picture a little boy telling this story. He was consistently sarcastic, thoughtful, and naive throughout the novel. His sarcasm kept me laughing through what was really a very sad story.
