Leo Collins phamhoangtda2d — A simple yet complex children's book. On one hand it's sad, one gives up everything of material and of their being to provide happiness and joy to another who will never be satisfied. Yet by doing so, this makes that one so happy to oblige. Reminds me of a parent-child relationship, which is not really sad as parents get so much joy from their kids.

Emily Shirtz _hirtzie — OK, so I'm not so good on the book reviews post brain surgery, but this book deserves 5 stars for the topics it covers! Don't want to give any spoilers, but it's an excellent book for teenagers, and adults! Karen Kingsbury covers some excellent topics that touch so many lives, and this book should be read by every pre-teen and teenager!

Nicola Vaccina _icola_ — Brilliantly moving account of the struggle of the Bielski Otriad. Ray Mears also did a programme a few years ago on how the survival techniques the Otriad used to survive in the harsh forests of Belarus. Also contains some harrowing accounts of some Nazi atrocities. Very worthwhile read, although don't expect to come out with a smile on your face at the end of it. Read this before watching the 2008 Edward Zwick film with Daniel Craig.
