June Lee ljefamilybd8a — I had a hard time reading this but everyone else in my bookclub really liked it. I had a hard time with the characters and just did not find that I connected with them, the landscape or the drama. However others raved about the book. so if you are looking for a book club book that will inspire discussion, this may be the one for you.

Claudia Torillo georgeclooneyhappy — I loved this book. It probably wouldn't be hard to guess I'd like it, with its sub-300 page length and its shifting narrative style. But I didn't just like it, I loved it. I think this book might make my top ten list, right up there with The Bridge of San Luis Rey (which, by the way, seems to be very similar to this book in some ways). I thought all the characters were great, especially Leo. I loved the ending. I can't wait to read it again. It just spoke to me.

Kristina Chesi tinache — I love Jennifer Crusie, and I'd read another novel by these two and enjoyed it, also. This one, however, suffers from editorial amnesia--or continuity--or whatever. The plot is interesting, but when there are mistakes such as having the male love interest enter by helicopter (using several pages of description about his descent and exit) and then leave by going to his Jeep (um, WHAT Jeep? How did he get the keys? Who provided the Jeep?)followed by other such mistakes (they had a "first touch" twice in two chapters), it became obvious to me that neither the authors nor the editor paid much attention. Boo.

Mohammad Hossain bbappy55 — A quick and easy read with helpful information. I plan to refer to the suggestions in this book when our first baby arrives (and grows through childhood).
