well, how should i start off? i must say that although i did enjoy the plot of this story, i could not bring myself to agree that the book is 'well written' and that the characters were very believving. i'll talk about the first chapter. you're litrally forcely plunged into the deep end, i had absolutely no idea what was happening and became confused and fustrated with how since there was no good explainations for what was happening, you seem to get the feel that you're expected to know everything you need to know to get what was going on, its as if i had to have the same level of understanding as the author! this problem happened througout the book, i didn't understand what certain things were and they were never explained, i suppose i'll have to do some research and re-read the book to get a full understanding (i am aware that re-reading a book to understand it is very common and successful too). i'll move onto the second problem i had with the book. i found that the characters were far too rushed, so to say. for example (this may be a bit of a spoiler but i can't think of anything better) before the moment Aislinn was to be trailed to be the Queen, theres was no sense of nervousness, like 'can i do this? can i really be me? is it all worth it?' these are the kind of thoughts i would think any usual human would think but i guess with all the faerie stuff happening, some things are out of the ordinary but still, i found that every character eased far too easilly into something completely different. maybe this would be how people would? i wouldn't know but nevertheless, this kind of writing made me not enjoy reading the book as much as i would like to. i still loved the plot though, but that seemed to be the only reason i liked the book. and with the issues i have with the way it is written, i hate to admit this but i'm not that pushed to buy the next book in the series... :/

Dalam pengukuran kinerja ini terdapat beberapa teknik seperti: •Konsep Value for Money yang meliputi Ekonomi (input/harga input), Konsep efisiensi (Output/input), Konsep Efektivitas (Outcome/Output) •Konsep Balance Scorecard yang menilai dari sisi Perspektif Keuangan (How do we look to shareholders), Perspektif Pelanggan (How do customers see us?), Perspektif Proses Internal (What must we excel at?), Perspektif Pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan (Can we continue to improve and create value?)

If there is a theme to my latest book choices, maybe it's because in my older and wiser years, instead of dreaming of going to Ireland, Scotland and England (a trip I would still take without one complaint), my thoughts have been traveling to the country where my family traces their roots back to. La Bella Italia. I am five pages into "A Thousand Days In Tuscany" so far. I've laughed, felt tears of nostalgia bloom, and sighed happily. I only expect the book to get better from here. Any book where the first chapter opens with a description of frying zucchini blossoms? Brilliant.

Pretty lightweight but entertaining. I'm not sure it falls under nonfiction.

I read this book for my book club and found that I really enjoyed it. Once I got into the fact that the entire book was going to be told in letter form, I enjoyed the correspondance between all the different characters as a way to learn about the lives of those on Guernsey Island during the Nazi occupation during the second World War and how these people formed a group as a way to keep from being punished for being out after curfew as well as a way for them to mentally survive during the difficulties of the German occupation.

This book wasn't anything special - somewhere between a 2 and a 3. Not a new or original concept, but a fairly quick and fun read nonetheless.

This is one of my favorite collections. Salinger produces narrative as mechanism like Nabokov produces narrative as puzzle. But where Nabokov comes burdened with implied hidden meaning, Salinger comes with only the architecture. He has all the charm of a beautiful building, newly built and not yet occupied.
