Short, but steamy! Scotty couldn't stay away from Jimmy forever; he had to follow his heart and desires and find out exactly what it would be like to be Jimmy's boy. He faced his fears and let Jimmy remove all the hair on his body. It wasn't easy, but it was what he needed. I liked the care and concern that showed through while Jimmy exercised his will. While I'm not entirely into total hair removal, the whole extended scene was still pretty hot!!

I'll need to pick up a copy of this one. I bought it for my brother for Christmas and thought it looked really interesting, and it was! There's so much to look at on every page, really intricate collages. But what I was really engaged by was the message of the book, which is a broad challenge to the reader to pick up a pencil, pen, brush, whatever, and create--writing, drawing, whatever. She explores how all kids love to play, and draw, and sing, etc. and how we almost all lose that along the way. It's an inspiring read, and she even goes so far as to include a workbook in the last section of the book to get you moving.

Recommended for everyone who is interested in Anne Frank. Although this doesn't say much about her, it's more like a description about the war time and the encounters with Otto Frank. It was interesting to get another point of view to the days.

Great at placing historical events into context. Really enjoyed the history of Latinas/os in the US, which was covered briefly and to the point in this book.

As the last of the Wicked Lovely books, Darkest Mercy completes what is by far the strongest fey series available on the YA shelves. Mellisa Marr's storytelling ability and world building are unmatched in books of this type. The world that she has created is deeply visual and extremely dark – providing the reader with a vicsera of blood, passion, love, life and death. Yet the series is not without heart and certainly not without beauty as the story swings between the writhing vines of Summer and the cool, calm confines of the icy Winter court. In Darkest Mercy Melissa Marr has created an intricate world and drawn many, many threads to a truly satisfying conclusion. However, while satisfying, I would like to think that there may be more stories to emerge from this world – the ending is not quite a happily ever. Already it is possible to imagine the Courts teetering on the brink of some new battle – after all, Discord still roams, Seth still sees and they all, being fey, are sure to still plot. And what of the Shadow Court? Barely seen in Darkest Mercy, I sincerely hope that Melissa is holding them back for another day. With storytelling of this standard, I'll be waiting with bated breath. I have to say I have become a major fan of Mary Roberts Rinehart books. Though she has been called the American Agatha Christie, I don't think this does her justice. With Agatha Christie, whom I have read and enjoyed, I find the mystery is the core of her stories, whereas with Mary Rinehart the people and psychological element are the core whether she is writing a mystery, romance or drama. In this case the story is a mystery told from the prospective of a lawyer that gets involved in it whom she handles quite convincingly. While not her best work (in my mind) it is still a very enjoyable read.
