The kind of action I have come to expect from R. Richard. A computer programmer has his boss disappear. The boss has a high level security clearance. The FBI has to find him. The computer programmer develops an idea as to where his former boss has gone. Since the programmer is the only guy who can positively identify his former boss, the programmer winds up as the amateur part of an FBI extraction team. One by one, the FBI team meets with a violent end, until only the FBI leader, a lady named Susan, and the programmer are left. The FBI team has been betrayed by a foreign government and by the US government. The programmer is falling for the FBI lady and he will kill anyone who tries to harm her. Quite a few people try to harm the FBI lady.

Another good book by OSC. I like most of his stuff that I've read. This is the last book in his Ender series (or technically the fourth in the Bean series, whatever). It wasn't quite as good as a few of the others have been, but it brings everything to a pretty satisfying ending.

Angsty teenage girl falls in a well and meets a ghost. Ghost helps her cheat at school and make time with a cute boy. Ghostie's crazy side comes out and teenage girl protects her family learning she is just fine as she is. The story was shallow and didn't build much tension but the art was lovely and the concept was intriquing.

The last 1/4 didn't match the first 3/4 and the first 3/4 had build-up so subtle that the last 1/4 didn't really make any sense/seemed like a completely different book/I didn't care at all. Plus, Anjali starts the book unmarried and unemployed and the book ends with her still unmarried and unemployed...what was the point of the whole exercise? Despite the big picture problem, the writing itself, with regards to the details, are solid so it's not that bad. If you like Indian/Indian-American chick lit, it's pretty good.
