As i read this book I learned that this book is manily about one brother goes down the wrong path and the other has not. The one hasn't tries to help out the one who goes down the wrong path and it is a struggle for both to understand because so many problems come their way. So through the whole book they have to overcome the things that happen and not stop to think what happen in the past.

I really got into this book and was SOOOOO pissed at the end when it didn't conclude - I had no idea that it was to be part of a trilogy - why didn't they put that on the cover - or the inside flap - so that you could brace yourself for it not concluding, really??? Ugh. But I so love the dystopian world - and their revolt - and love? - maybe. It makes me think of the Last Book in the Universe by Rodman Philbrick. Also a great dystopia story.

probably it's more like a 3.5, and certainly compared to the most recent harry potters, it's pretty good; however, when I compare it to books i gave 4 or 5 stars to, it's just not on the same level.

After being hooked by The Crown Conspiracy (and I mean that literally, as defined by Merriam-Webster’s as “fascinated by or devoted to”) I was like a kid at Christmas waiting on my copy of Avempartha. From the last page of Crown to the first page of Avempartha, I missed my new friends Royce and Hadrian. I wondered what was happening in Elan after the death of the King? Where did the formerly captive and truly dangerous wizard Esrahaddon go? What secret plan was the Church of Nyphron weaving behind closed doors? Now the story, the unexpected twists, the unknown past and future, hold me captive until the doors of this amazing land are opened to me once again in Book Three Nyphron Rising. All I can say is write, Sullivan, write. If you have not yet made the trip to Elan grab a copy of The Crown Conspiracy and begin the journey today. Michael Sullivan’s Riyria Revelations series is a rare and wonderful treat; an artistic vision. The novels are inventive, captivating and well-written. A great adventure filled with passion, humor and heroism await you!

I read about 20-25 of these books. I strongly remember wanting to read these because they seemed cool and my older sister read a few of them. I remember that our library had a little display of them and I also bought a lot of them through the book catalogs we got at school. I remember most strongly the set up of the books; each book started explaining the club and describing each of the members. I also strongly remember the covers. This one reveals that Stacey has diabetes.

With an excellent plot twist at the end, this a great read
