This is meant to be a "kids" book but I found it a bit scary, although I'm a huge wuss so it could've just been me. Good message for kids about growing up, taking responsibility, and not turning into a quivering mound of jello just because an ancient evil being kidnaps your parents and wants to sew buttons to your eyes and eat your soul. Good story overall but the resolution was a bit too convenient.

The 200-odd pages of consciousness may sound a little intimidating and, after reading 'To The Lighthouse', I thought I would never appreciate Woolf. However 'Mrs Dalloway' is beautifully written, with hints of character backgrounds that set the imagination wild. The thought processes are intelligent and witty, if horrifically dark at times. A very good read.

People who like romance novels might like this. But I don't, and I didn't. Except for the airy coos - that was the best part. The 200 pages in the middle describing all the ways/places to have sex in the Highlands I could do without.

I read this book at the urging of an ex-boyfriend, and it started a life long love affair with "The Godfather" I love the story lines, and the violence, and just the history behind it all...I even love the movies (not the 3rd one I pretend that one doesn't exist) Lets just say it was and will always be amazing.

I really liked how this series ended. I am quite sad that it is the last book. I was really hoping to see how everything turned out with Victoria and Max's new family. I wonder how Sebastian will manage? A few unanswered questions I think. Makes me sad.
