Lolita is a very crazy and insane book i have ever picked up. The book has a lot of pedophile with one man but it is very confusing because how the person would have multiple names for one person.

I was very excited to finally get to read the last book of this series. Francesca, the heroine, is a fascinating character that I adored from the first book. Her relationship with the Duke of Rochford (Sinclair) is hinted at through out the whole series, and it was great to finally get to the bottom of their history. And what a history is was.... I love both of these characters. Especially the Duke. He's everything that you could want in a hero. While he isn't your typical 'rake' he was still very interesting to read about. The book lagged for me in a couple of parts. I wanted Francesca to just get on with it, but over all the wait was worth it. I would highly recommend this series. All of the characters are witty, interesting and you won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this... a likable main character, a detailed world that doesn't overwhelm, a fun and fast paced story. I had to read this one quickly as it was a library book with an expiration date, and it turned out to be an easy task since it is such a fun story. We meet Harry Dresden as an adult, making his living as a wizard in a world that usually doesn't believe in such things. He has trouble paying the bills, a cat to feed, and no woman to keep him warm at night, but there are prospects. He is frequently misunderstood by the other so-called good guys, so there is a little bit of an underdog aspect to his character, and of course he manages to get himself into a heap of trouble which seems neverending. The poor fella just can't catch a break, and you want him to, because he is himself one of the good guys. I'll gladly stay tuned to see what trouble he gets himself into (then out of, then back into again) next. Memorabilty 7/10 ( I don't think I'll remember the plot a few months from now, but I think the wolrd of Harry Dresden will probably stick with me. )

Reread this book last night and was surprised to see I hadn't reviewed in on here before. One of my favorite books in the entire world (second only to, and perhaps tied with, the RiddleMaster trilogy) the Thief is a brilliant masterpiece. The writing is exceedingly good, the dialogue is brilliantly funny, the character is beyond adorable, and the plot...oh my goodness the plot of this book and the sequels are amazing. The style of the writing is impeccable--there's not a word out of place. Re-reading only continues to reveal subtle hints that you missed consciously the first time and reinforce your believe in the brilliant of Megan Whalen Turner.
