As they are running around the entire mall, dodging dummies, and running away from creepy mannequins, they suddenly get reunited with Josh, their friend who mysteriously disappeared a few days back, and also with a fellow student/friend Riley. Jessica, Rachel, and Riley soon learn from Josh, that the mannequins are only part of the mystery happening here. They are actually aliens that are here to take over the world! But can the four of them help save all the missing people, destroy the aliens, save the world, and not get caught in time?! This book takes place in Bloomingdale, MN where the Mall of America is. The biggest mall in the world. This author, Jonathon Rand, puts in a lot of non-fictional places and stores to make the story seem more real and believing. This book is a great book for older kids and young adults, because it isn’t that long, isn’t that complex, but really makes you want to flip the page to see what is going to happen next. Great book!

I listened to this on audio. I am sure I would have never got through it otherwise. I liked this book alot. It was a very good story, and very funny in an unintentional way. The swooning, fainting, trembling, moisture on the brow, paleness, flushing of the cheeks, ect. cracked me up! These poor people could barely stay upright for more then an hour before a fainting spell took over! There must have been unconsious bodies littering the streets in those days.

Some writers have an excellent story to tell and can't keep my attention for more than a minute. that is not the case with this book. About a woman growing up in a very poor, but very fascinating family. I could not put it down. It has a great blend of laughter, tears, and those touching moments that make you want to linger over a chapter here and there. I think my favorite thing is that after all she's been through, she's not bitter, and you don't get that foul taste in your mouth of someone who has been cheated in life. She's very optimistic. Its hopeful. Anways, go read it. I love it. :)
