As with all of Jodi Picoult's books, it got me thinking. I like all the moral dillemas she has in her books. "Handle with Care" is about the whole "wrongful birth" issue. It was the first time I ever heard of this term, and it was interesting to see how things unravel. like it how in her books (this one included) life isn't always black and white, and there are always consequences.

Written in small passages, this is an easy book to read and put down over time. Poetic writing, entertaining enough not to get bored by the fact that this is a story of a Father and his son as they travel on the road together. Cormac McCarthy is an excellent author, and this is a good place to start if you have not read his other work. It made me feel like watching the movie again.

Bagus. Kalo baca sinopsisnya, agak berbeda dengan cerita romantic suspense yang lain. Di buku ini dijelaskan kalo Rudy Lutz aka William Parker pernah terkait kasus pembunuhan 4 gadis di Seattle dan kejadian ini berulang kembali di Raleigh, Carolina Utara. Saya langsung berpikir -asyik, pembunuhnya sudah ketauan, tinggal bagaimana cara menangkapnya saja. Ternyata oh ternyata, tetep, saya harus mengira ngira siapa pembunuh sebenarnya. Inilah letak bedanya. Kalo di buku lain yang pernah saya baca, si pembunuhnya gak tau siapa, alias kita buta dari awal. Ceritanya sendiri bagus. Jenna dan Steven sama sama menyimpan tragedi percintaan mereka. Sempet kasian juga sama Jenna, yang gak pernah bisa dipercayai oleh Steven, tapi toh, bisa dimaklumin mengingat kasus istrinya...

This was an interesting novel, told from the perspective of a 5-year old boy. Certainly different from most of what I read, but enjoyable. I found myself thinking about it days after I finished.

I was thoroughly surprised by this book. I wasn't expecting the twist on the living dead that Rachel Caine has provided us with in Working Stiff. In the beginning of the book, it took me a little bit to get in to it b/c I wasn't connecting very well with our main character, Bryn. The story was a little slow and then around chapter 3 or so, it all changed for me. The action spiked up and the next thing I know, I am well engrossed and didn't want to put the book down. To top it off, I am very intrigued with McCallister. I can't wait to read more; just to find out more about him. We are definitely on a roller coaster ride with this series. I also didn't expect the twists and turns that Rachel Caine gave me, although, I should have. She does this throughout Morganville Vamps as well. A great read from a fabulous writer!!
