Really nice story. Different because it's clear from the start that Elliot and Juliana are in love with each other. The story is centered about Elliot and how he's able to recover from the trauma in his past. I loved to see his blind trust for Juliana. He know she is his redemption and worships her for it. Juliana is a strong inteligent heroine. I loved how she handled her husband's issues. Numerous sexy scenes in this book as well as very romantic moments... all in all a very satisfying read.

I despised almost every character in the book. I liked the best friend's boyfriend. He wasn't in the book much. The preacher, the boyfriend, the crazy neighbor, the main character all left me hoping that I could unearth some sort of redeeming qualities.

** spoiler alert ** I won this book from a giveaway on Good Reads. It is a good thing it was free because if I had paid for it I would be really mad right now. The plot had so much potential but in my opinion it really failed to deliver. The character development was very shallow which made it hard to get to know the people or even care about them at all. There was not very much dialog between characters, it was mostly a monologue by the main character about random things like the big zit on his cheek and worrying about his canceled basketball game. The story moved very slowly and the only thing that kept me reading was the slim hope that something exciting might still happen. It finally picked up and got interesting about the last fifteen or twenty pages. Then came the BIG letdown. In the middle of reading about the rescue of the main character I turn the page and there is nothing more! I literally didn't realize that was the last page! He just stops the story. There is no resolution for the characters whatsoever! I'm sorry but really,have you never heard of an epilogue? As I said, this book had lots of potential but most of it went unrealized. Too bad.
