14 cd's as a audiobook. A good book with alot of trendy topics that would be of interest to the Wired and Neil Stephenson crowd. Maxwell's Demon,The entropy of information, codes,Goedel, Turing, Babbage, Ada, how new forms of new information technology: printing, the dictionary, telegraph, telephone, television changed things. I found it clearly written, fun and interesting. I would like to have given it 4.5 stars.

I really liked the way it wrapped up in a multi-genre way :)

Quite simply, Jane Eyre is probably the most brilliant gothic love story ever told. What ever I may say in my review could not possibly do it justice. Hats off to Charlotte Bronte who could write a novel in 1847 and have me at its mercy more than a century later! It will forever be a favourite that I am sure to read again.

This book is fresh and intriguing. I read it on the recommendation of a college professor. I had honestly not heard of Asperger's syndrome before. I learned something and enjoyed the story!

This story does not let up once from start to finish. Kundera plays with perspective and timing, all the while sticking to the main theme. He never actually takes a position regarding heavy and light, and Tereza and Tomas' love story makes both seem unbearable at different times. While it did exhaust me, this is a must read for anyone who has the time and concentration to think long and hard about love, relationships, history, war and a bunch of other BIG things.

Easter was around the corner when it was time for me to pick up a new book. I happened to see Watership Down lying around and thought... Easter? Book about bunnies? Perfect! But seriously, who thought a book about rabbits could be so engaging. I was literally sucked in and didn't want to put the book down. The thing that made this book so interesting was that Adams barely anthropomorphized his rabbits. Rarely did a human characteristic pop up and when it did you barely noticed it. Adams definitely had to be careful about that seeing as human-like rabbits could easily turn the novel hokey and cartoonish. It's the fact that he doesn't though that invests you in the novel and these interesting little creatures we know of but know nothing about. Adams also has an incredibly detailed and descriptive way of writing that helps you picture and see every rabbit, action, location, object, whatever! It's beautiful and flows wonderfully so before you know it you're suddenly twenty pages along and you're wondering how that happened. The most important thing in the end, though, is the rabbits, our main focus throughout the novel. They carry it. The characterization of each individual rabbit is amazing! They all were unique and different and I bonded to each one (well except those certain few, but even those were sympathetic every once and a while and you found yourself liking them). I need to stop because I could rave and rave about this book. I'm sure if I thought about it more and longer I could think of things I didn't like, but honestly... I'm drawing a blank, I loved the book. Disregard the fact that it's about rabbits. Like I said it doesn't come across as some sort of animated Disney movie, it truly is a fantastic novel and a refreshing, unique read.

This was a very quick, suspenseful, entertaining read for me. I have only read two of the prior books in this series, and with this book I felt like I was missing some of the back story on some characters. I may have missed that information since I have read out of order but I didn't find that that changed how much I liked this story.
