An interesting premise, but I found some parts of the story slightly disturbing and the ending anti-climatic. The writing was engaging and while it held my interest, all the way to the end I kept waiting for something to happen but nothing ever did.

this book was very boring. she didnt introduce any of the characters and most of the book was very tedious and plain. she really didnt have much of a personality either. and she kept repeating the same things over and over. i know that she lived in an attic for two years but ive read more interesting books on the holocaust. she also needs to get over this peter dude because that just got annoying.

I thought this was going to more a collection of essays, but instead it is interviews and in some cases speeches given at ALA. I liked some more than others. Barack Obama's speech (given when he was a senator) almost made me cry. Validating read for those who work at libraries and an enjoyable read for library lovers.

This is easily my most favorite book of all time. J.R.R. Tolkien created a world that captivated my teenage and early young adult years as I invested time reading the book following the release of first movie. I completely immersed myself for several years into getting to know the book better as I wrote fanfiction based around it rather than the movie and formed many friendships due to a mutual love. Thank you, Tolkien, for many years of enjoyment from your masterpiece.

Just finished the last book in the trilogy and it was just that... a finish. It was less exciting then the previous books, and a little more boring with the introduction of all sorts of new people and conspiricies. However, it wrapped up the series nicely and once again showed why Lisbeth Salander is one of the greatest heroines of all time, and one kick ass bitch! She consistently surprised me throughout the series, and this book was no exception (helllooo, nail guns!). Overall a great series if you love murder mystery and the coolest chick in history to grace the pages of a book.

I'm not a fan of comic books...nor was I a fan of the pace of the storytelling (it was slow). There was something about it though...the characters were so much more flushed out in this book than so many other novels. That may be part of what I didn't like. I did feel, in the end however, deeply connected to the main characters. I recommend this book to my brother and anyone else who loves comics.
