What a sweet love story...I cried so hard at the end. I'm not normally a romance reader and I know what the critics say about this author but you have to give him some credit for the good ol' fashion love stories he writes.

I had to read this book for an American Gov't class and it really changed the way I look at the world and people (specifically those in power)'s motives. Contrary to what they teach you in high school, this is NOT a book warning you against the evils of socialism-- George Orwell was, in fact, an English socialist himself.

I read this before I saw the movie, and as usual, the book is a lot better than the movie. Although the writing can get pretty sub-par at times (not bad though for Niffenegger, who is actually a paper artist by trade), the story is something special. The author does not make the mistake of making huge deal out of time-traveling, which would take a lot away from the real focus of the plot - transcending love. It sounds really sappy, I know, and I must admit I actually cried in the end. But what can I say, it is a very unconventional love story...

The book was a joy to listen to. The narrator and the author captured a particular "southern" voice that appeals to me. I was reminded that we all have our own interpretations of history, even the facts of our own lives.

i really liked this book. i thought it was a good start to a great story. however, it was so short i literally read it in like half an hour and it only took that lonk because i had 2 put it down half way through to take my dog for a walk. also i don't really get why it is called the witches of santa anna as there was no reference to anything supernatural going on until like the last couple of sentences. i can't wait to read the next book tho.
