Το 2009 που διάβασα το Σχέδιο Φράκταλ πήγαινα ακόμα Β' Λυκείου και ουσιαστικά σαν αναγνώστης δεν ήμουν ιδιαίτερα έμπειρος, είχα δεν είχα διαβάσει 100 βιβλία μέχρι τότε. Τον συγγραφέα δεν τον ήξερα, ούτε τις εκδόσεις, όμως η περιγραφή του βιβλίου και η λέξη CERN μου έκαναν κλικ. Πάλι καλά να λέω, αφού θα έχανα μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα και ξεχωριστή ιστορία αν δεν αγόραζα το βιβλίο. Η πλοκή είναι πολύ καλοδουλεμένη και με το απαραίτητο μυστήριο, οι ιδέες του συγγραφέα έξυπνες και πρωτότυπες και η γραφή ικανοποιητικότατη. Πέρασε καιρός και δεν θυμάμαι συγκεκριμένες λεπτομέρειες, θυμάμαι όμως ότι το διάβασα σε δυο μέρες και ότι πέρασα πάρα πολύ ωραία.

I liked this book, but it was not AMAZING like everyone else says. It may be because i have seen the movie several times prior to reading the book...and the book is so different from the movie. It may also be the age, and how i couldn't really relate with these 12 year olds. i will read the rest of the series, and I'm told the second one is awesome. we shall see!

Told from the perspective of Christopher, an autistic 15-year-old, as he tries to solve a mystery and writes down his discoveries in a book while unearthing his father's lies and journeying to London on his own. Though the author himself isn't autistic, the book's perspective is unique with twists and diversions that add to the book, rather than detract from it. (For example, there is an appendix that explains how the main character solved a tricky math problem, but his teacher didn't think he needed to include it in the body of the book... and all the chapter numbers are prime.)

Bianca is the DUFF, the designated, ugly, fat friend of her group of three. At least that's what Wesley Rush tells her, and she is furious, but it really bothers her. Bianca has a lot to deal with. Her parents' marriage is failing. Her father is drinking again. Her mother is basically MIA. And what does Bianca do to deal with this? She starts sleeping with Wesley Rush. Bianca and Wesley both experience a lot of growth in Kody Keplinger's novel. And I just had to keep listening to see how it would all turn out. However, there's a lot more teenage sex in this book than I'm comfortable with. That being said, I liked these characters, and I kind of felt a little proud of them for facing their demons in the end.

I actually just read "Lady Susan". It was interesting and fun. I loved the way it was written - in letter sytle. The ending was a little weak, but funny and satisfying. I really enjoyed it!
