The story was heart-warming, but again, at times it was a bit over the top. Any kid who likes baseball should enjoy the book, but at times I got a little lost in the lingo.

This book was amazing! It's the last book in the series and the author did a spectacular job of closing the story! There weren't any loose ends but the story wasn't just a cute "and-they-all-lived-happily-ever-after/the-end." Like the rest of the Percy Jackson books, it was full of humor, suspense, and moments where you yelled "YOU IDIOT, PERCY!!!!" I loved it!

About halfway through and it's pretty good so far. I didn't dig the dream sequences but the *very* clever reason for Liberty I's crashing more than makes up for it. Looking forward to possibly finishing this up tonight.

I loved how the story was told through the journal entries of the main characters. The language from this time period is so beautiful as a welcome break from modern literature, I can drift back into another time and place for hours on end.

Since I love animal stories, I had to read this one. Really enjoyed the stories of the coyote the author raised from a pup and the photographs the author took were beautiful. However, I got tired of reading, seemingly on every other page, "I broke into tears" or variations on that theme--get over it, lady. I would recommend checking out her blog, dailycoyote.net, for the pictures and if you like the writing there, check out the book.
