أحداث الروايه فى احدى حارات الرياض القديمه ... الاحداث و شخصيات الروايه جميله و لكن ما يعيب الروايه هو توريه الاسماء الحقيقه فمثلا الانديه الرياضيه المذكوره نادي القمر = الهلال و نادي الفوز = النصر و كذلك أسماء المدن على العموم روايه جميله تعيد بنا الذكريات الى الرياض في الستينيات

This book will pull at your heart strings. The ending especially. You will love and hate the mother when you read the story. I love how the author builds the characters and their relationship in the story. My only suggestion is make sure you have a box of kleenex with you.

There just aren't enough superlatives to describe this book, and the series that follows it. Ms. Dunnett is a master of description -- her narrative never (to me) feels like it's plodding, or feels like mere "filler." She describes action with such clarity and immediacy that sometimes you sit on the edge of your seat, living the action with the people, not even realizing that you're reading rather than living it. At some points, the events are so hilariously funny that you could laugh out loud, and at other points so tragic that it could bring you to tears. Everything is utterly real. Each of her characters (and they are many) is a complete individual; there are no cookie-cutter characters in her books. They are so real that you become interested in every one of them, whether or not you like them, because they stand vividly alive before you. But the best of all is Francis Crawford, the main character. He is, of course, impossible. But he is so talented and bright and scintillating and well-read and educated and poetic and sarcastic and -- and -- well. There may never be a real person like him, but you deeply wish that he existed. This book is the first of the six books that comprise the "Lymond Chronicles." It takes place in 16th century Scotland, though the subsequent books take you to France, Constantinople, Russia, and England. But this book can stand on its own, and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys historical fiction. The final chess game alone will be enough to have you tearing your hair out with the suspense.

loveeeeee book no8 my fav character is onyx type who yours is
the book i like most from the whole Harry Potter series. The whole thing is like a good mystery novel--every little detail makes sense in the end. However, the level of difficulty isnt too high and so makes it a suitable novel for elementary children.

** spoiler alert ** I very much enjoyed this paranormal mystery. Sadie does "bio-recovery", that is, she cleans up after people have died and left a mess. She has the ability to see and talk with ghosts of folks hanging around either because they have a message to leave someone, or they haven't figured out/accepted that they are dead. She's had this ability since her brother's suicide five years previously. In this book, Sadie goes to clean up after an apparent murder-suicide of a wife and husband. The wife's ghost tells her that the husband didn't kill her, and Sadie has to figure out just who did.

Sisters is more along the lines ofDanielle Steel's original style of story telling. It had more of a real feel to the story line and characters. This is defintely worth reading. I really enjoyed it. This story left me laughing and crying at the same time, I was sorry the book ended without knowing more about the sister's future.

Another Kanji dictionary, but Halpern tries to entirely re-invent the Kanji categorisation system, which means some lookups make you say "Brilliant! Two seconds!" and others make you say "Why the #$%@ is it there?! How was I supposed to know to divide it there?". But it contains a wealth of example phrases, some so spectacularly subtle that even native Japanese speakers turn their heads quizzically when confronted with them. Kanji is always exciting with Jack.
