It was hard to know how to rate this. It is not written well, but it is simply OJ's own words. I am always fascinated by personalities and so it was very interesting to me. OJ is a manipulative, controlling predator with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This book shows how a Narcissist/abuser thinks and how the relationship was viewed by him. The Goldman family Foundation for Justice authorized this book.

When I first read it, I couldn't put it down! Same thing when I reread it. I just get lost in the writing, in the story like I'm there. Definately a must read and I'd recommend reading this one first in Gregory's Tudor series.

Kate Ellis' Wesley Peterson series is a fascinating blend of historical mystery and modern. In this case a doctor shot just as he was going out to dinner. Meanwhile Wesley's archaeologist friend from university has been called in to look at some bones unearthed by a couple having a power cable laid on their recently purchased farm. The story takes place in three time periods: that of the early bones (late 16th cent.), that of the new bones (1940ish) and that of the doctor (1950 & present).It sounds very complicated but it is easy to follow, in spite of new information shifting the viewpoint. The excerpts from the Wartime Reminiscences of an Evacuee bring you closer and closer to the solution of the modern bones, but you don't get the answer until the very end. The 16th century situation is fairly clear from the beginning, although even that gets a twist or two. The research one would have to do to find the information in these cases is fascinating, but the reporter who was trying to have a career-making scoop for her paper is just as unpleasant as one would imagine and she gets what she deserves.

This was a quick read. More of a parenting book than memoir, which is what I read it for (the memoir,not parenting. Do not need that yet!). It is very entertaining. Soleil had a very unconvential, yet fascinating upbringing. And a happy childhood, especially being a child star. She is very insightful as a mom, too, I think. I recommend if you are a Punky Brewster fan (or wondered what happened to her) or a parent or aunt or uncle or child caregiver.

The best part of this book is that it's a quick and easy reference manual. I particularly liked the charts and lists of pregnancy ailments. That's helpful - especially when you're suffering from one of them and couldn't find it easily in any other pregnancy book! It's not the week-to-week variety type of book, but still very useful for a quick overview and refresher course!

I started the book with great expectation. The Kite Runner being one of my most favorite novels, I was hoping that this book would at least be just as good. I liked it better. I won't spoil anything for you. So, there read it already! It's a powerful book, a story of two women. It can also be a good account of women's condition during the Taliban regime.

This was an excellent book but you should read the ones before this or it might not make a whole lot of sense. This is one series I believe should be read in order. There are 2 books which I believe are #7 and #11 that were part of short stories that I couldn't figure out what the book was but they are part of the series too.
