henry VI is very special to me-it's the very first play by Shakespeare I read in English.(the 3 parts) It is imperfect no doubt, but some of the best lines by Shakespeare and one of his most wonderful female characters, Queen Margaret, are to be found here.

A bit too descriptive, I don't think it ever stopped raining... but there were several unexpected twists at the end, and all seemed headed toward a proper resolution, until the LAST 2 PAGES, at which point I got agitated. I suppose this means there is a sequel, unless the cliff-hanger didn't turn out well. Do not do that to me. Now I have to look to see if another book is out already, and I resent the pressure.

This is the most beautiful book of Yoga photography. All in black and white and featuring some of the most famous/proficient teachers from around the world, it's a must have for anyone interested in yogic practice. Additionally, it offers great examples of advanced variations of basic positions, so as you practice you know what you're aiming for. I keep this in my car side door to entertain passengers when they get bored. Seriously.

** spoiler alert ** This isn't as good as Bone. In terms of a comic unconnected to Bone it is proably good, but like the Star Wars prequels, some of the plot doesn't match what came before. Which annoys me, though this is faaaaarrrrr better than SW. I want to know what happened to the cows. There is horses here, not cows. There should be cows. I don't care if it is nitpicking. The cows were cool. But what I really, truly didn't like was the whole Briar foreshadowing thing. If you've read Bone then you know Briar is the bad master. Here that is foreshadowed by three things. (1) Briar doesn't like dogs (2) Briar doesn't like the outside (3) Briar shows her cleveage. Simplstic characterstics of evil always annoy, especailly the dog one. The reversal of that is that everyone who loves dogs is good, and we know from history that is not true. Yet, the story was overall engaging.
