This is a cute and hilarious book that can be enjoyed by readers young and old! There is excellent voice throughout the story that children will laugh and giggle at. It is a great book for teaching students about expression while reading that can make the book more fun. Moral questions like, "would you let the pigeon drive the bus?" could be asked to get students to connect to the book more. I highly recommend it!

This book was really good, and gave me major anxiety. Amor deliria nervosa is what they call love, or falling in love. It's the cause of all problems (like depression, wars, bipolar disorder, everything), so they "cure" you when you turn 18. It's about a girl, Lena, months away from her cure.

I know her as Kristine Katherine Rusch, from her science fiction writing, so I was pleased to get her romances from Better World Books. They're coming back into print and as ebooks soon. The series is a "paranormal" romance, sans vampires. It was a quick read, with a good sense of humor, a practical spunky heroine and good secondary characters. Enough that I look forward to the others in the series, which is terrific, because life is too short to read bad books!

Rand was certainly the whiniest he's been in this series, but just when reading his chapters started to become a chore, I was plesantly drawn back too his lighter side (it was nice to see the old him poking through, I was missing it). If there was more focus on Rand than I think I wouldn't have been able to carry on through the whole 766 pages, but those heavy pieces were wonderfully interspersed with Egwene and Mat and, to a lesser extent, Aviendha and Nynaeve and Min and Cadsuane. Several pieces had me laughing (like the spanking of a Forsaken). Others had me sitting 'til quite late with their intensity (I couldn't leave until I found Egwene was safe after the tower attack). And a few of my suspicions came true (like who's a darkfriend). Many of the earlier plots are finally starting to come to a head. Not all the loose ends have been gathered yet and I was still left with questions, but that's to be expected with two more books to follow. Wonderfully done and harks back to the feel of the earlier novels.
