We are using this as our text for Composer Study in our homeschool. We have liked it. We usually read two or three paragraphs each week before we listen to a selection by that composer. My children have found it interesting in small doses. I don't usually finish reading the entire chapter to them, but I try to hit the highlights. This is not to say that the book is not interesting. It hits the main points of the composers life and what they contributed to music as well as a bit of historical background.

The narration has beautifully captured the moments. This novel is more than a love story. It is an appeal for independence & acknowledgement of an individual's worth. This was emphasized since the beginning from Jane Eyre's defiance of Mrs. Reed (her first passionate statement of independence-- I love this part), John, & then Mr. Brocklehurst. Jane Eyre is religious but self-reliant. I never thought I am going to love this novel. I felt bad about the unfortunate events that transpired after Jane Eyre left Mr. Rochester. I liked him more when he used to be a Byronic hero. After his reunion with Jane, I began to dislike Mr. Rochester. He has become like a castrated poor puppy.Oh well, love and its crazy things.

I loved this lecture and cannot get enough of Wayne Dyer's books, particularly his audio books. Wayne Dyer is so inspiring to listen to. I feel positive energy and good vibrations when I listen to any of his work. This book was amazing on so many levels. I truly enjoyed learning about the seven faces of intention: creativity, kindness, love, beauty, expansiveness, abundance, and receptivity. I hope to be able to continue my journey in life using these teachings as a wonderful guide to become closer to God and be more in spirit!

Having traveled to Cambodian and Vietnam I thought that I would really enjoy this one... instead I found the author pretentious and to be a bit of an asshole... as a result I couldn't identify with any of his experiences and most of what he wrote jsut made me mad.
