Hawking's book tries to answer many questions about the makeup of our universe. He ably explains some of the more simple physical concepts and has a very interesting chapter on black holes. The biggest problem with the book is that Hawking gets wrapped up in "physicist" terminology, such as calling a black hole a singularity. This can be rather confusing, especially when he is explaining concepts as space-time, multiple dimensions and wormholes. This is worth the time to read if you are curious about the origins of the universe and do not shy away from physics concepts.

Still really steamy. The storyline continues and it get better. I like these characters. I am starting to feel something for them. I reallylike the way LL is building on the story. Now I feel like I have to follow them.

Not brilliantly written, but delivered the goods on Francis, the "Little Brother", as he called himself. I love everything I hear about this man: I want to learn more about all the men we call saint, having learned more about this one. Like Chesterton exclaims: "how pitifully similar are all the Tyrants of history! How gloriously different the saints!"

I would like to start out that I thoroughly Another mystery, another case of whodunnit and why. It's just frustrating when the author loves to use the pedophiles and early child abuse theme over and over again in many of her books. I think we get it. Pedophiles are bad people and children who were abused when they were growing up turn out to be weird and tend not to show a lot of emotions. We honestly do. The author seriously needs to use a different theme for her mystery books because it's tiresome to read about it book after book even though the base of the story is pretty interesting. While The Neighbor's plot isn't something new, the book is exciting enough to keep you coming back for more. I really liked the D.D. Warren character. Her sexual drives and dreams of pigging out at a food buffet seriously made me laugh out loud. Her way of speaking with Detective Dodge is also pretty hilarious, although I'm sad he only makes a very brief appearance. D.D. is smart, beautiful and a very hard working detective but that doesn't make her superwoman. I like how the author portrays her at times that she's still a normal women who have fantasies and can still be breathless when confronting a handsome male subject. To the author, I love your books. But please, please, try to think of a different theme than pedophiles and child molesters. It's getting to predictable.
