This is an informative read for anyone interested in taking better care of themselves. Dr. Perricone's whole concept is that taking certain vitamins and supplements, eating foods that get you the most vitamins and following a proper skin care plan, will help you fight signs of aging. The best part is he explains exactly what Vitamin C, or Alpha Lipioc Acid, or Selenium, etc. does for your body. I've always known I should take my vitamins, but understanding what each one does, makes me much more motived. And the truth is, I like that the knowledge has a bent toward vanity and looking young, b/c that motivates me too. My friend Tanya is a trained esthetician and her teacher told her this should be on every esthetician's reference shelf.

What is there that I can say about this book that hasn't been said? I was literally blown away, racing my time left on the train with the pages I had left in the book in order to finish it in time. McEwan ties together a plot that spans over 60 years and three narrators flawlessly. I'm usually not that big of a fan of sweeping epics, but when they're done this well, can you really complain? His writing is perfect, his style enviable in every way, and his characters well developed and layered. I'm practically counting down the days until the film adaptation with James McAvoy and Keira Knightley is released.

It's a fictional account of Jane Austen's life and her own adentures. I'm not sure how historically accurate these stories are but they're fun and there are footnotes that tie these adventures to her own letters and journals. Plus that time period and the mannerisms and the culture is pretty interesting. Apparently if you were the eldest daughter in the Austen family you would be referred to as Miss Austen. But if you were one of the younger sisters, you would be referred to as Miss *insert first name* Austen

This was an incredible read! This was different than any other book I would usually read but incredible and I have a new love for elephants! Tom and Jenny's relationship was so sweet and this was never a dull read at any point. I would definitely suggest this book!
