Blind Your Ponies is the story of a very tiny town in Montana whose hapless basketball team has one glorious season. The characters are well-developed but.....I thought the writing was very weak, amateurish, and old-fashioned. How many deeply-felt soul-searching pregame pep talks do I need to hear? How many super sad stories of loss and then learning to trust again can I hear before they all seem incredibly clichéd? I skimmed the 2nd half of the book, because, of course, I was sort of interested in the characters but I would not recommend this book

I just love Richelle Mead's series!! All of the events seem to fit together perfectly and at the end of the books i'm always like O_o. I loved this one...but I HATED the ending..I hope Richelle finds a way to make it turn out good!

Part adventure, part fantasy, part science fiction, and part realistic fiction (with the character of Meg, a seemingly ordinary teenage girl who doesn't quite fit in with her peers, but, of course, longs to). And like most good fantasy/sci fi books, I could not put this one down. The worlds that the children visit are interesting and creative. The children themselves are fascinating - a five-year old that can speak like an adult and read minds certainly intrigued me and kept my attention. I admit that usually I am not a fan of science fiction books, however would read this book again, and would recommend it to others. Late elementary school-age and above.

This was a great book with wonderful principles of self-restraint and patience. It really seems to explain the reasons why so many people stay in debt and how to get out of it. It is a bit repetitious but still very inspiring and motivating.

I wish I had read this last book in the series closer to the others. I spent the first quarter of the book trying to remember the characters. It is a great series, the thief is an in-depth, easy-to-relate-to character that I truly enjoy. Turner is a great author for teens.
