Sanatın Öyküsü - E. H. Gombrich TrendKitaplar Kütüphanesi

Wow. This was great! I really liked Romily Parker, the lead singer in a wedding band called The Pinstripes and a jingle writer, who's just told her best friend Charlie, and fellow band mate, she loves him. Only, he doesn't. Her timing is perfect, right before Christmas, and in her haste to get away from the disaster she left behind, she runs into a toy stall and scatters toys everywhere. No helps her, except for this man, and she shares a look with him and just knows he's the one. Only he leaves before she can thank him or get his name, only to discover he's followed her to the next shop where he gives her the most magical kiss. But once again he's called away before she can get his name or number. This kiss is indescribable. It's just perfect and Romily knows he's the one. Only she doesn't know how to find him. So Romily shares her story with her Uncle Dudley and Aunt Mags, and they convince her to try and find him, and so she starts a blog and gives her self a year's time to find him. The things that happen to Romily on her quest are both funny and touching at the same time. Every time she thinks she's taken a step forward, something happens to knock her back. But she never gives up hope and keeps moving forward. This is the second book by Miranda Dickinson I've read. I really liked how while Romily was the main focus, we got to see a lot of what was going on in her friend's lives. Each of them also played an integral role in her search for the "pk" (perfect kisser). And her Aunt and Uncle were both lovely and a hoot. Miranda Dickinson's next book comes out in November this year, and I'll be looking forward to it.
