If you are looking for a book that will make you smile as you read, this is it! Julia Child's positive attitude and her embrace of all things French shines through in this memoir. I really enjoyed reading this book and learning more about Julia Child's life. You don't have to be a huge Julia Child fan to enjoy this book.

So I know I said the same thing when I was reading Remember Me? but it's true. How strange would it be to wake up and not know the last 4 years of your life. To not know how you became the person you are, who you are, why you are the way you are. It's totally creepy. Then I think would me from 4 years ago even like the me of today?

This was on the bookshelf in my vacation rental, and since everyone seems to like Lee Child, I picked it up. Great read, and I haven't read any others in the series. I'm definitely going back to read the others. Good suspense and mystery; great military details for the novice.

I have to say that I didn't care for this book; it wasn't the subject matter that disturbed me but rather the format of the book. It was set up somewhat like a magazine but was even more disjointed. It was like sitting in a theater and having multiple 15-30 second commercials flashed on the screen but never actually seeing a full length movie. I much preferred two other books on the subject of human traffiking: The Road to Lost Innocence and Jantsen's Gift.
