Ok, I have to admit--I always thought that this should have been made into a Pink Panther movie, with Peter Sellers in the role of the head crook. Normally, he'd have been the hero, but in this book at least, the hero is less bumbling than the profession thieves. Having said that--I DID discover that it had been made into a Made-for-TV movie. Which was amusing, but I STILL think that Sellers would have been a better choice. Ah well, back to reviewing the book. It has bumbling thieves, somewhat less bumbling good guys, a wimpy love interest, a creepy cousin, and 2 kids that are way beyond bright. While the characters are somewhat cartoonish, I think that that is what the author was going for. Something light and fun and lol.

Featured at An Abundance of Books "I Love Him To Pieces" is like the cotton candy of zombie books. I was expecting something more along the lines of "The Walking Dead" or at the least "High School of the Dead", but I got a far more kinder and gentler version of the zombie genre. Evonne Tsang has written a delightfully witty treat of a zombie story. While Janina Gorrissen is a great artist, there are places where I can't figure out what was going on in the picture, and this affected the storytelling. This, combined with a small problem with the flow of events brings the book down a notch. However, the story is so much fun, total brain candy. This would be a fun one to pick up from the library. This was a great book - I've read it twice, and loved it each time. It's heavy, but you can't put it down. I'm a huge fan of Jodi Picoult and have read many of her books, but I think this one may be my favorite.

Loved it! I've read this a number of times, and can't praise it enough. For anyone who is looking for practical Christian living, this is one of the finest works available. It's language is more complex than most modern readers are accustomed to, so it is not only a work that challenges and, if practiced, improves your piety, but also your reading comprehension.

LAURA INGALLS WILDER- HOW I LOVE YOU. my pre-teenage years were spent dreaming I was her. My cat was named Half Pint and my favorite doll is still my laura ingalls wilder doll. I dressed as her for halloween and everything. okay, back to books. I love these books (clearly). This was the beginning of my love for historical fiction. I really don't know what to say because I haven't read these books in years, but at one point I had them all memorized. I own over 22 books of hers, her daughters story, her grandmothers story, etc. They are in a special case because they are falling to pieces. I totally recommend these books to any little girl.
