Admission: I lean to the right politically, but I've read and enjoyed autobiographies of Democratic and Republican politcal figures. I really enjoyed this book (I'd give ita 4.5 stars, but not a 5 since I was bored in a few places throughout the book). I thought it was an interesting and honest account from Bush 43's time in office, and what his thoughts were behind many of the major decisions he made. Reflecting onmany of the events that happened during his 8 years as President (September 11th, Hurrican Katrina, Afghanistan and Iraq), you definitely wouldn't say they were easy. I particularly enjoyed the first chapter on quitting. He starts off with Laura's question to him: "Can you remember the last day you didn't have a drink?" From there, he goes into his struggle with alcohol, and his decision to stop drinking, which was an interesting perspective and insight into who he is today. Without the decision to stop drink, he candidly admits he would not have become governor of Texas, let alone the President of the United States. Overall, a very well-written book that stays true to the title, covering major decisions George Bush 43 made.

'A Light in the Attic' and 'Where the Sidewalk Ends' are both amazing reads. Both books are overflowing with witty poems that are cleverly written on a level to engage audiences of all ages. The illustrations are excellent as well. Definitely a fun reading experience.

The thing I love about David Levithan is that he writes about how he would like the world to be, not about how awful the world IS. It wasn't quite as beautifully written as Boy Meets Boy, I thought, but it did almost make me cry at the end.

this is one of my top five favorite books. I was completely engrossed in the story so much so that i was kicking my feet on the bed when I read the ending. i love Austen's characters, and she writes the tension between two people perfectly.

Reading this book is like having a discussion with 88 different people about race, racism, prejudice, and bigotry. Maybe it is more like listening in on someone's dinnertable conversation, if we could sit down with each other and listen. A conversation that we should partake in and continue. This book was a great read during a hard time for me. There is not many books written specifically on cancer but this one helps to articulate so many hard emotions. My brother passed away from melanoma cancer and this read was very helpful. I'd recommend for anyone with cancer or someone who has a loved one with cancer
