Laetitia Saren _aetitia_aren — This was a strange and wonderful book that I enjoyed immensely. It is dense and confusing in many parts, so it also frustrated me. I would highly recommend it to people who have a high tolerance for dense reading, confusing storylines, and Persian history. It was really difficult to follow at times, but taking it slow and re-reading the most confusing parts helped me keep up with the story. It may be worth a second read now that my mind has a map of where the story is going, and also the language is so beautiful I would love to spend more time enjoying it. This isn't a speed read or a book you can skim, but it is worth the effort and time.

Jairo Ortiz coffeeman8fb95 — This told the story of a sudden technological revolution on pern, and though interesting, didn't have the character development and driving plot usually characteristic in McCaffrey's dragonrider books. I think it relied a lot upon prior knowledge of the characters from the initial trilogy featuring Lessa and F'lar.

Viki Odriozola viki_odrioca14 — I'm not sure what to write about this collection. It has some things that I don't like about it: the profanity, the sad, traumatic, and graphic subject matter. But the writing is so good. Something about O'Brien's honesty and expert handling of the language is so beautiful and soothing that I find myself picking this up to read over and over. Others may not be able to get the re-readability out of it that I have, but I recommend giving it a try.

ömer Yüksek omeryuksek — Simply amazing and evocative of the 1970s. I have never listened to her music, but her memoir of her struggles as an artist and the partner to an artist is amazing.

Nayelli Gonzalez _ayegzz — A retelling of a Buddhist fable, thought provoking both because of the "War on Terror" and the fact that I read it on MLK Jr. Day ("Violence promotes violence")
