Minik Tohum - Eric Carle Minik Tohum, güçlü sonbahar rüzgârı başlayınca diğer büyük tohumlarla birlikte uzun bir yolculuğa çıkar. Yolculuk tehlikelerle doludur. Jad Azar jad_939 — I love the illustrations in this lovely rhyming book. The story was good but the illustrations were better.

Bruno César _runoocesars — I liked this book. I'm not saying that I would love to read it over and over again, but I liked it. Truthfully, I expected something more in the lines of erotica. I read a review of a GR friend that described this whole book as a giant sex fest, so I was a bit wary of all the sexuality and those details, but there wasn't anything excessive on that point in my opinion. Sure, they started their relationship with sex, but well, most of the relationships nowadays start the same - the problem is whether they'll continue being in a relationships or will you throw them away as soon as the first ray of sun hits the window. That's definitely a person's choice, and since I've been in that situation once, I can relate and not pass judgement instantly. The names of the warriors are ridiculous, though. Zhadist, Phury... Where did Ward find the inspiration for that? They're really silly names, and Butch's words when he saw them all together in leather made me crack up big time. He and I are on the same wave length - he said it while I would have though it if I saw them all at the same time. As for Beth, she didn't hit me as an inspirational character, and the fact that nothing remotely normal or exciting happens to her until she meets Wrath makes her one of those clingy females in my opinion, that can't exist without a male beside her. Sure, she isn't portrayed that way, Ward actually tried giving her some characteristics of her own, but they're all enhanced when Wrath is nearby so there wasn't much point in her being away from him. I just want to see the day when a male would be so clingy to a woman and be described as a hero and not a psychopath. Wrath, on the other hand, has a lot of issues, but what those issues are, I have no idea. I just know that he has them, and that it has something to do with his parents, but there isn't much depth in the book to tackle those issues head on. We figure out that Beth helps him somehow (and I have no idea how, and I've read the book) but well, that's all figured out and I don't want to bash my brains out for nothing. A couple of details in the writing stood out to me that were pretty hilarious. For example, how the lessers smell like baby powder. I mean, what the hell? They're supposed to be this evil incarnate, and they smell like baby powder? Couldn't you think about anything more, I don't know, EVIL, for the main enemy? And the fact that when Beth sees the brothers, Wrath think about them something along the lines of: Zhadist - the most powerful brother of them all; Phury - even though he has a prosthetic leg, he's the most powerful brother of them all; Rhage - with his Hollywood looks, is the most powerful brother of them all...etc... Do you see anything in common? Really, like he's afraid of his own thoughts and has to think of them that way. But, regardless of the negative bits and the hilarious ones, I did in fact enjoy reading this book. Not something that would come on my mind first if someone asked me for a recommendation, but not something to be missed if you don't have anything better to do.
