Den Lixunoff lixunoff — The secret of the immortal Nicholas Flamel. If you think this book is about the secret of immortal, well it is not. The secret was told in the beginning of the book and I think we already know the secret don't we. The portion of Nicholas Flamel (The alchemyst) is very little in this book. The story of this book is about the twins, a sacred book, and saving the world. So the title is little irrelevant with the story but the book cover is awesome. This book give me bunch of historical and mythological characters that i never heard of, such as Perrenele, Scatach, Dr John Dee,etc. That made me interested to google them. I gave two stars because it's say "it was ok". I don't dislike this book.

Jaleesa Willis _illis_esigns — this is like a poor man's David Gemmel or George R.R. Martin. Pretty good for a first novel, and this guy isn't really a pro, but imagine reading something that an established fantasy writer might have written in grad school or something. He is from B.C. and its not published a whole lot, but worth the read if someone wants it.

Ishita Singh ishitasingh — This is an extremely well English written book. Interesting story depicting the social life of 19th century English society. Very entertainnig.

Lindsey Wade wadel42d9f — First thing: everything my Dad always said about the tax system is 100% true. Two: this book is beautifully written. Something about DFW's way of describing other humans is so bright and clear and on point that you smile every time because it's hard to write in a way that most people understand you. Three: it takes a special type of artist to write about a topic so uniquely dull and manage to spin it into some sort of fantastic story that you can't help but to kind of love. Everything everyone said about David Foster Wallace is true. He was one of our greats.

Denis Osullivan denisosulli — I wasn't sure what to think of this book, though I love the idea of the author acting out his writing.
